Meeting Purpose
The State of Conn. established a Low-Income Energy Water Advisory Board, in accordance with CGS. 16a-41b, as amended by PA No. 24-37, to assist the OPM & DSS in the planning, development, implementation, and coordination of energy and water-assistance-related programs, policies and low-income weatherization assistance and water conservation programs and policies. The Board advises the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection regarding the impact of utility rates and policies.
